"Word-of-Mouth" seems to be the most effective way of campaigning! I had sent mails, and left voice to couple of my friends some time back. They became aware of IV, but not yet registered. Talked to them today, and got both of them registered. (kasas & aksrao).
Requested them to spread the word, "IV". I am sure they will read this thread and campaign for "IV".

Doesnt matter if the I-94 is only till the visa expiry. There is another I-94 at the bottom of the approved I-797 that ends on the extended 797 date.

If this is a possible solution, have your Mother-in-Law visit Canada temporarily for a few day and have her come back to US. I am just floating this idea for discussuion.
Visiting Canada doesn't help to extend the visa stamp. My in-laws tried it in August.

MY PERM case is pending in DOL from last 10 months. I find this very
unusual.
Anybody heard about such a long pending case?
Are there any suggestion for following up on my PERM case?
Any advise will be useful.

What should one put for
1. Nonimmigrant Visa number
2. Date Visa Issued
3. Consulate Where Visa was Issued.
I'm currently on a valid H1 extension with a valid I-94. My current visa on passport has expired. Anybody any ideas????
1.Non immigrant visa number : put the number on the expired H1B stamp (in red color).Do not put the control number
2.whenever the expired visa was issued
3.whereever it was issued.
I assume you renewed your H1b eventhough you'r H1b stamp expired.

My case is already at the embassy since march 2007? Not sure when they schedule interview ?does anyone know the time lines.
Did you check the Embassy website? They post the interview dates for all the applicants scheduled for the following month. You can email them or call them and I am sure they will respond.
