I am thinking of taking an Info Pass nevertheless and try to get some status about my case. If the IO mentions anything about "normal processing times" I am gonna ask him how can he tell whether my case is currently within normal processing times or not ! And see how what response he/she gives me.
They had already made PD bulletins a big joke and now added the Processing date bulletin to that bucket. I wonder what kind of improvements (if at all) in the accuracy of data that we will see after their DB upgrades...

yeah the design is good,but mate, in my opinion we should upload orignal illustrations!

yeah u probably didn't coppy it, i'm sure u put some effort on at least coloring it, but still it's absolutely the same pirate!
It's one thing to take an idea and develope it, other is just coppy it!!
I'm posting this because i dont think is very fair for me and the other contestants who put more effort on creating a unique t-shirt.
I'm sure u have a crazy imagination, like most f the designers, and u can come up with something really interestings!

A friend of mine is a citizen from a non Visa-waiver country, married to an American. They've been married for two years and she is expected to receive her green card in a few months at the embassy of her country of origin where she still lives. Because of abuse issues, she wants to separate asap but is afraid he might retaliate by trying to prevent her from receiving her green card. Is that possible, or should she wait until she has the Green Card in her hands? Thanks!

You can be a passive partner (investor) in any startup (even without any visa). To be an active partner, you need to be a permanent resident or citizen in US. Here is a link for the details... I had applied for my I-140 to seek an extension from Oct-09 to OCT-10..Instead I recieved an I-140 with expiry date of Oct-09 itself..what to do now..I know its a genuine mistake..but not sure how to get that addressed..:confused:

It is a hard situation for me. I-485 interview for AOS is due in just 3-4 days from now. I am separated from my US citizen wife.Have not filed for divorce. I am employed in the US on a valid L1-B visa.
Our marriage may or may not work..
1. I need advice as to how to withdraw the I-485 AOS application. I do no have copy of documents/notices that USCIS sent.They are with my wife.
Or
2. If we do work out our differences then is there a way to keep the current AOS alive? Or shall I get the current one withdrawn and file for a new one if we do resolves our differences?
3. Also if I do withdraw the I-485 does it also mean that the I-130 filed by my wife is abandoned/revoked automoatically?
Really appreciate a prompt advice.

What my lawyer said was correct. Yesterday evening received the approval email and card production email. In the case of same employer, interfiling is not necessary. USCIS took care of it automatically.

Recently, I have used AP for my travel from IAD. I was sponsored by company A and I am working for company B on EAD. At POE the CBP officer asked me if I am still working for Company who sponsored my GC. I said no. I told them I work for Company B. They just listened and let me in.
The other question that they asked me how long was my stay outside US. I was not sure why they asked that question.

It is better to spread the awareness about swine flu as it is projected to strike back in the end of September and peak by the end of October. Every one thinks that it is not of their concern but some one is getting affected till it contracts them. So before that happens let us spread the awareness about this deadly flu virus. I think you should apply for H1 extensions about 6 months in advance even if u have applied for AOS. Your driver license might also expire with your H1-b and to renew your license you will need approved H1-Extension. Also just in case something goes wrong with your AOS application and it gets denied, you might be out of status.
I would strongly suggest that you apply for H1-Extension well in advance just to be on safe side.
